Hand-carved by artist Naomi Sarna during the Coronavirus lockdown, Shy Girl, a 457-carat Citrine, is symbolic of how we are gently moving back into the world after the chaos of Covid-19. The deep swirling curves depict the turmoil we have all experienced, while the piercing in the carving is the door that leads to a new and hopeful world as we re-emerge into society after the captivity of Covid. Shy Girl is perched on a Bronze base, with a patina that was created by Sarna using a special heat process.
