Purple Gold

A very rare form of Quartz, most often found in Bolivia, ametrine is a blend of golden yellow Citrine and purple Amethyst that occur naturally in one stone. Artist, Naomi Sarna, hand-carved this 297-carat natural Ametrine gemstone to bring out the contrast of the yellow and purple hues in the stone. The flowing curves of the carving highlight the play of light between the two colors as they harmoniously swirl together. Purple Gold won First Place for carving in the American Gem Trade Association Spectrum Awards competition. This one-of-a-kind art carving comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Naomi Sarna.
